board member Crockett here board member Peterson here board member board member montz is unfortunately not here with us today board member blakeman here and board member Carpenter is also not here with us today oh thank you as part of the agenda that we do have a consent andena this will be read into and acted on in one motion uh each of these items will not be discussed individually uh I will be reading our consent agenda today and I will hopefully do a good job on it so we will see so we do not have any cards I do not believe we do right nothing we're good so we'll jump right into that so on the consent agenda today we have let me get to the right [Music] one the approval of uh meeting minutes from our previous meeting from January 24th 2024 and then we have and I will do this as well item pz 2411 the proposed amendment to Chapters 25 45 50 51 and 87 of Title 11 of the mesa city code pertaining to Billboards the Amendments include but are not limited to adding new chapter 25 billb billboard overlay District modifying chapter 45 to remove Billboards as a prohibited sign type moving definitions for advertising for higher sign billboard and off-site sign from chapter 50 to chapter 87 and adding a new chapter 51 called Billboards which is Citywide uh staff recommendation here is for adoption in our meeting today we also discuss some other changes and some of these include and I will there's five different so in title 28 chapter 23 we ask to uh should be a article one not 11 on page three yes sorry I'm getting there and section 11- or 11-24 uh number one make language consistent with 11 25-4 B2 same with B1 as it relates to the right of way right in section 11- 24-4 G1 add quote of a billboard unquote and clarify relate clarify that it relates to both electronic and static Billboards and lastly um ensure freeway Landmark Signs references are consistent throughout you say make sure uh did know and that freeways are actually also capitalized thank you that one was not on there okay we're good on that one right I'm getting a thumbs up we're good okay so the as I said before staff recommendation is adoption for this one so a recommendation for city council for for city council yes so with that can we go straight to a motion so that I'll ask for recommendation for I'll move to approve the sorry I pushed move P move I move to approve the consent to recommend approval of the consent agenda as read with the added clarifications thank you is there a second I'll second it oh thank you everyone please vote and I'm going to guess oh board member Crockett I'm sorry verbally what was be your vote I vote yes thank you there we go all right unanimous uh that passes appreciate everybody on that one with that we will move over and see if there's any else from uh planning updates that we have for today chair SS there are no additional updates thank you very much with that I would ask for a recommend or an A somebody move forward so we can adjourn and get out of here motion to adjourn second second thank you everybody please vote board member Crockett I vote Yes all right unanimous we're good to finish for the day appreciate everybody this meeting is adjourned
