No description available.
Based on the procedural flow of a standard city council meeting, I have identified the speakers as the **Mayor**, the **City Manager**, and various **Council Members**. Since the original text did not include timestamps, I have provided estimated sequential markers.

**[00:00:00] Mayor:** I don't because you're starting to read their stuff you're like oh I get why you said that early on. [Music] Apparently what have you had an open mind on this should be interesting my main objective... All right, will you join me in the Pledge of Allegiance?
**[00:00:15] Group:** I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
**[00:00:30] Mayor:** All right, we're going to come along here. So, adjourn? [Laughter] Motion dies for lack of a second. Two—hey, a minute Senator—everybody get a chance to read those? If so, I'd entertain a motion to approve the minutes from the City Council meeting on June 14th.
**[00:00:45] Council Member:** Second.
**[00:00:47] Mayor:** Motion and a second. All those in favor say aye.
**[00:00:50] Council Members:** Aye.
**[00:00:51] Mayor:** Any opposed? Motion carries. Item 2B: Minutes of the City Council work session from June 14th. I'd entertain a motion to approve those.
**[00:01:00] Council Member:** [Inaudible] and a second.
**[00:01:02] Mayor:** All those in favor say aye.
**[00:01:03] Council Members:** Aye.
**[00:01:04] Mayor:** Any opposed? Motion carries. Item 3: Adoption of the agenda. It's a light one. I'd entertain a motion to adopt the agenda.
**[00:01:10] Council Member:** So moved.
**[00:01:11] Council Member:** Second.
**[00:01:12] Mayor:** I have a motion and a second. All those in favor to adopt the agenda say aye.
**[00:01:15] Council Members:** Aye.
**[00:01:16] Mayor:** Any opposed? We have an agenda. Item 4: Consent agenda. I’d entertain a motion to approve the consent agenda.
**[00:01:22] Council Member:** Second.
**[00:01:23] Mayor:** I have a motion and a second. All those in favor of approving the consent agenda say aye.
**[00:01:27] Council Members:** Aye.
**[00:01:28] Mayor:** Any opposed? Motion carries; the consent agenda is adopted. Items 5 through 9, we have nothing scheduled, which brings us to Item 10: Communications from the City Manager. Do we have anything?
**[00:01:40] City Manager:** I have just one thing. Uh, just to note that we will have a work session on July 19th at 6:00 PM to review the class and compensation report as well as continue our housing discussion. And I did send a meeting invite out to all of you on that. That's all I have.
**[00:01:58] Mayor:** Great, perfect. Thank you. All right, we are entering into a closed session to evaluate the performance of the City Manager. At this time, we will dismiss others in attendance. The conclusion of this meeting will not be video recorded. Is there someone who may have had some verbiage to make a motion?
**[00:02:15] Council Member:** Sure, Mr. Mayor. I'll make a motion formally, then, to go into closed session to evaluate the performance of the City Manager as permitted by Minnesota Statute Section 13D.05, Subdivision 3A.
**[00:02:28] Mayor:** Motion. Do we have a second?
**[00:02:30] Council Member:** Second. [Wait] Okay.
**[00:02:32] Mayor:** I have a motion and a second to move into a closed meeting. All those in favor say aye.
**[00:02:36] Council Members:** Aye.
**[00:02:37] Mayor:** Any opposed? We are now in a closed meeting. We're not taping.
