To register online, visit oakdalefun.com and claim your favorite activities. It's park clean-up week. Thanks to the volunteers who have signed up to help in clearing debris that has accumulated in our parks over the winter months. Your efforts are appreciated. The Oakdale Eco Fair and Clothing Swap will be held this Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Castle Elementary. This is a free event open to the public and offers information on a variety of environmental topics and initiatives. It will also include exhibitors and vendors, family-friendly activities, a food truck, and new this year, a clothing swap. Check out the link provided for more information. Our annual Pete Grassi Arbor Day tree giveaway will also be held this Saturday. Registration opened on April 1st and within about 6 hours, all 200 trees had been reserved. We look forward to seeing those that pre-registered on Saturday. Finally, save the date for our grand opening of our new Public Works facility. Join us on Saturday, May 2nd for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. followed by walking tours of the new facility every 30 minutes until the event concludes at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and no need to RSVP.
