I know thank you good morning everyone you are at our City's zoning committee this is the first Committee of the week we're kicking off zoning I mean committee week and I am council member Marcy Collier Overstreet I'd like to call our meeting to order um and let me introduce you to our members I have to my right council member Byron Amos and to his left would be Matt Westmoreland and to his left is councilmember Andrea Boone to my far left is council member Amir faroki and next to him to his right as council member Howard Shook and next to me too my immediate leftist council member Mary Norwood and together we make a full compliment a quorum so we can't conduct our business today as such I motion to adopt the agenda is there a second second by Norwood please prepare the vote the vote is open and the voters close 78-0 days thank you moving on I motion to approve the minutes is there a second approval by Overstreet second by Amos please prepare the vote the vote is open and the vote is closed seven years and zero nights excuse me thank you we're moving on to public three minutes do we have I want to sign up since no one has signed up we're going to move on to ordinances for first read there are five ordinance ordinances for first read that will be sounded and referred back to zoning committee at the next full Council which will be Monday October 17th so no action is required today and that brings us to items for second read our director of zoning and development Kiara homes will read the captions for our second reordinances good morning council members item number 6 220 1760 an ordinance by council member Byron D Amos imposing a moratorium on the acceptance of any application for special administrative permit or building permit to which a special administrative permit has not been applied for including land disturbance permits for any Lo any property located in an R5 zoning District within the Home Park neighborhood for a period not to exceed six months and for other purposes thank you I'd like to motion to substitute second by Amos please prepare the vote the vote is open and the vote is closed it's seven years and zero names if they thank you and with that we are moving on to okay could you could you prescribe the substitute the substitute attaches to uh two maps of the affected area and adds aware as Clause uh whereas the cities are a limited amount of time while ordinance number 22o 1759 is reviewed for potential adoption and to allow the rezoning and planning process to be finalized thank you and your substitute is in your packet so I remarks I would like to wish The Honorable Byron The Amos a happy 50th birthday um thank you for serving the citizens of Atlanta happy birthday anyone else and I would like to say that the land disturbance permit um issuance is in cdhs that will be tomorrow and I will put it in your uh at each of your offices a copy of that because we are the zoning committee but it will enable us to have the final lots for a subdivision platted and acknowledged where they will be so we can have tree save in the rear yard and the side yard setbacks right now we just do scorched Earth and as you remember I mentioned this in August the department has prepared this and made it very simple so I am very hopeful that we can pass it it does not have to go to the npus because it is only a regulation departmental regulation so it was a simple way of solving a really important issue thank you councilmember Norwood I did receive mine and I am in support wonderful anybody else want to sign up right
