but it's important to remember that Bobcats don't want to tangle with us any more than we want to tangle with them most bobcats in our area weigh around 15 to 22 lbs however what they usually consider a meal is much smaller than they are since their diet mainly consists of rats mice rabbits and birds small children are too big to be considered a potential meal however if you have a dog cat or other pet smaller than 15 lbs you should keep your animal on a leash or contain an attended when Outdoors because these smaller animals are often injured by larger domestic pets then they can become Creed not only Bobcats but also the coyotes Hawks owls and Eagles that live in the area remember remove all of your pets food or water from outdoor areas leaving these items outside could attract Bobcats and other unwanted visitors to your yard the safety of our residents and pets is our highest priority we will use Humane trapping for cases where certain Wildlife are living in or creating a den at a Arbor Day uh there is a National Arbor Day which is in April uh but in Texas we like to celebrate it on the first Friday in November it's cool for the kids to get to see them leave a mark on something so doing the trees at a park that they get to play with like they get to play at is really cool you go the kids are from hedge Coke's Elementary and they came here two years ago so this is their second time doing the event put some more on the other side they actually reached out to me so it made the ARB Day event really easy uh we have about 27 students they're on the Eco club and they're really excited to be here today just put it in the hole last year we did some plants on um our Creek and they loved that they got to drive by every time and be like I planted those trees so it's just cool for them to see they're always when are we going to go plant more trees when are we going to go plant more trees so this is usually our biggest turnout a lot of these kids have not planted a tree can you go stand over there and tell me if it's straight it's a way to get the students outside it's a way to connect with the community and we're just really happy to be working with them it is I'm glad that they are tabling it with additional time to the February 17th to give some time but uh we do recognize that a couple people registered to speak um in opposition but they're not here and uh the tabling you know it does speak to the fact that you know that they're not here is it may be inconvenient because of the the tabling so I do want to make sure that this applicant considers that going forward if if if they can't make this 17th deadline that uh we may need to consider a longer term right any other comments commission okay so the motion is to table this item to the February our screen thank you okay now staff report thank you very much the applicant is requesting to reinstate approval of their replot it expired on October 15th 2024 the applicant was not able to file the replot within the six-month time period due to personal reasons as stated in the letter in your packet there is a set of criteria as shown on the screen that the commission should consider during a reinstatement request no conditions were placed on the plat with the previous approval and no regulation changes are applicable to this development therefore staff recommends approval of the reinstatement request happy to answer any questions Commissioners any questions of Staff commissioner Lang felter how long is the reinstatement for is it is it the to July 21st is that that essentially six months another six months it would be up to the commission but the standard for replots is a six-month um expiration time period commissioner Bender I was going to make a motion to reinstate uh we have we have some speakers registered on this so give me just a minute so okay commissioner yeah when was uh the plot um uh expired uh October 15th and you like and they do have like 60 days per the report right so did it did it not pass the 60 days so they can request um an extension 60 days before or after the expiration and they submitted the application right on the 60-day okay Mark okay thank you commission any other questions of Staff commissioner bronsky so I noticed in the letter uh it talked about um the property owner falling ill and requiring extended stay in the hospital is the property owner the only one that could file the plat the property owner does need to sign the plat so um I believe they couldn't get their signature so if they had their signature somebody else could probably have filed it but I think the signature was what they were waiting on and so a six-month illness that can you go back to the okay so yeah that's all I had thank you right healthwise but from what I'm told everything is good to go as soon as we get this yeah that that's correct this is Ray Roman yes that is correct I actually met with the with the land owner um of last week and um he is much better actually lost a lot of weight but he is much better all right okay any other questions for the applicant no other questions commissioner brunov sorry the Ling felters Spang about 2014 2015 or so began to attract these companies uh in fact Toyota they were looking for a presence in the middle of the country where they could be close to the East and to the West particularly by air but located in urban large Urban environment and even though plano's not in the middle of the country as far as east west north south we are in the middle of the country in terms bit different from what we saw in central Plano how so
