[Music] We're pleased to announce a new community partnership with Wings Credit Union as the exclusive naming rights sponsor for Hayes Arena. The arena is one of the city's most frequently used recreational facilities. Yearround it hosts youth and adult hockey, figure skating, tournaments, community events, and more. This new partnership will provide valuable ongoing support for the facility, helping ensure it continues to serve athletes and families for years to come. The renaming of Hayes Arena will be finalized following the design and approval of a new facility name and logo by the Apple Valley City Council. Several large-scale park projects are well underway. This includes the construction of additional pickleball courts adjacent to the tennis and pickleball courts at East View High School. Right next door in the Splash Valley parking lot, work continues on the new skate park. Over at Hayes Park, the new ball fields are starting to take shape along with other improvements throughout the park. Kelly Park is getting a total makeover, including a new splash pad, playground, and amphitheater. Construction continues at Redwood Park to include a new pool and a modern community building. Also included are new courts and Apple Valley's first ever inclusive playground designed to be enjoyed by all ages and abilities. The event will take place at the Johnny Cake Ridge East parking lot located at 5800 140th Street West. Residents of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Egan, and Lakeville are welcome to bring up to four paper bags or small boxes per vehicle. Shredding is free and will occur on site. To prepare your documents, be sure to remove large metal binder clips and three- ring binders. You can leave staples and paper clips on items before destruction.
