E-Bikes & E-Scooters - October 2025

No description available.

[Music] Ebikes and e scooters are a fun and  eco-friendly way to get around, but there are some rules you need to know. You can basically ride  where bicycles go. Streets, bike lanes, and most paved trails. But check local rules before heading  out. In Minnesota, you must be at least 12 years old to ride an escooter. And if you're under 18  years old, you must wear a helmet. As a reminder, according to state law, e scooters are designed  for one person only. Remember, no passengers. And if you're riding an ebike, you must be at least  15 years old and you must wear a helmet if you are under 18. For more information on E-scooters  and E-bikes, go to farmingtonmn.gov/ebikes. Ride safe. Ride smart and enjoy the ride.
