All right. >> All right. So, good afternoon everyone. Uh, this my name is Myron Bailey. I'm here in a brand new restaurant here in Cottage Grove. Uh, we are celebrating the grand opening of Kasamia. And I just want to mention on behalf of the city of Cottage Grove, I want to thank these owners, which will be talking here in a minute, uh, for um, sharing this special moment with us and then also uh, frankly investing here in our community. So, we're pretty excited about that. I also want to thank a couple of their elected officials that are here. Uh, council member Theiti is standing next to me and our representative Wayne Johnson is standing uh right behind me to my left. So, Rosa shared with us the part of the reason uh you both or they both chose Cottage Grove for this exciting new restaurant is because you saw that the Cottage Grove community is connected to each other. So, kind of that great connection there. uh and that they have shown great support uh to the different businesses in our area. So, in other words, whether it's the city working through the local businesses and helping them out uh and the residents that are pretty excited about that. I often do say that our community is what makes Cottage Grove a special place and they are also one of our biggest assets in terms of supporting new business growth. And I'm so proud to see you choose us here in Cottage Grove because she did mention to me a little bit earlier that this is her first restaurant, right? She's got some friends here that are behind the the scenes here that are helping her out that have other restaurants, but this is her first first uh forte here in Cottage Grove. We are excited to open our new restaurant today. Hopefully you guys are able to come through. So, a little bit about our hours. We're open from right now we're opening from 3:00 to 9:00, but hopefully next week we'll bring you our new lunch menu. We'll have new with different stuff on it. So, we'll be open from 11:00 to 9:00 our regular hours and on the weekends such as Friday and Saturday we'll be open to 10 for you guys. So, a little bit about us. We have most of our things are pastas. It's uh salads and we have some soups and also sandwiches and burgers. Then I also handcrafted a cocktail menu that hopefully you guys are excited to come to. I made it myself. Hope I checked most. I'm not able to drink it, but I [laughter] had other people test it for me. So, and they said it was pretty good. So, hopefully you guys enjoy that. Little bit about us. My mother worked at a restaurant for 12 years, so she has a good experience. And my dad is the head chef here. So, hopefully you guys like his food. He doesn't cook like this at home, just to let you guys know. So, [laughter] I don't know. It's the first time I actually taste good food from him. usually. >> It's usually me or my brother cooking or my mom. But yeah, we hope to see you guys here today for a grand opening.
