>> really funny a little don't mess Johnson C you for years >> everybody ready to get >> I guess so. >> So the vice mayor is all about getting business done. So you have any okay. >> first page, you have 3 proclamations and there are 2 awards. The awards are have been approved by the didn't go through our office. I'm really not sure I know the full nature of those. And we 3 people on the public agenda. On Page 2. First item new business. This would approve a grant application that would allow. For low-risk fire inspections to transition to fire operations. And the more details about how we're going to get there in council report. Number 2 is approving settlement of litigation involving the city's gang list and database process. Page 3 number 3 asked council to consider an amendment to the city's legislative agenda related to official publications. Council word Black Hawk you in cape. But yes, I plan to table either. >> Definitely or direct staff or are the next time we talk about the looks, at so just a heads up, catching off guard. That won't be an action item other than to differ. That's all I have on Page 3. Other than to note, there are 3 travel request. I council agenda spills over page for as well. I don't have on Page 5. And page 6 number 6 would approve a lease agreement with the Wichita Community Theater. For a parcel that's owned by the theater be used as pop public park so they will lease also we can allow public use of that Abbott. They will take care of the maintenance of parcel as well. So a pretty good, unique, deal. Number 7 would approve the purchase of 3 full-size transit vans from the state of Georgia's purchasing contract and is allowed under our purchasing rules. If there is a competitive competitively item piece of equipment or whatever service and it's don't buy another public World allowed to pull from. Their bids. Page 7 number 8 was approved the sale of a building that. 20 to 20 21st Street to Habitat for Humanity for the price of $682,500. I do have a question for under a council policy. The proceeds for pro for the sale are from the sale we go. 45% economic development fund and 55% to the general fund. Given the unique circumstances we're under right now. I'm wondering if the council would want to consider having all that your mark to go to the Mac. For the expenses that we know we're going to incur and the fact that it was used for the emergency shelter this year. There's a little bit of a connection that regard, but it would take council approval to do that. And what we would do is move this off of. Consent to move into new business if the council was willing entertain It Yes. Okay. All right. drive you. We'll make sure we do that. And we'll show that that is funds will earmarked for the Number 9 would approve a change of ownership related to Cargill's pro team headquarters. It's It's just tough. Formality, but it does impact the Arby's that were issued. And so we have reflect that in the documents. So I have on Page 7, nothing on Page 8. And the only thing a highlight is on page is 9.10 item 16 through 20 year. All sales of public housing. The Florida continues to go well. me. That's all I have. I don't know if. Is more going on. Yeah, surprise she's able to take time you with Found. >> Everything is that I don't know if you guys can see me or not. okay. Yes. Crazy. Crazy days at the Topeka at and as you have probably heard the global tax plan was voted down yesterday. So they are going to hold off on any more global tax, relieve it healthy to session. >> The budget is scheduled to be debated. Stay don't know if that will happen or not. Today is drop dead day. So the legislature is likely to be done. And today we've heard reports heavy lifting done by 4 or it could go to past midnight tonight. So not exactly sure of the schedule. Regarding some of the issues the start on bill is the in a conference committee report. It does include the permanent fix for the Food Sales Tax Fund to begin on May first 2024, it does include historic theaters as well. That conference committee report has not read yet and on concerning note, the property tax agreement in tax does contain the government competition, language that was vetoed last session. There were no changes to that language. during the discussions in conference committee and we'll continue to work to But that Bill is likely to come up in today or possibly during veto session as well. The Mac homelessness funding will continue to talk with legislators about that 3 session. It is not included in this budget bill that there will be an omnibus budget. We continue to talk and if it is not included, will continue discussions through the summer and fall as well. With that. There's so many moving pieces right now. I will have a full report to you guys. And either over the weekend or on Monday, once first it does happen. Happy to answer any questions. >> Marlee. It's a new building that will store and also show how they used to repair. And so carriages. So 6 o'clock swill. That is a kicking off.
