are we ready good morning so i am council member marcie collier overstreet the chair of our zoning committee and we are getting ours our committee week kicked off like we always do with this zoning committee and today is may the 23rd um so now i'd like to introduce my my colleagues that we have today here we have to my far right council member amir feroki next to him is council member andrea boone and to my far left we have council member matt wismorland and next to him is council member mary norwood and this means that we do have a quorum so we can conduct our city business today so we'll get gets to it um and we're going to start with um adoption of the agenda okay adoption motion by councilmember norwood second by westmoreland please prepare the vote the vote is open the vote and speak with us about your willingness to serve thanks for coming today i've been a resident of the city of atlanta for 23 years i live in candler park and i have been involved with the cameron park neighborhood organization and probably my favorite position was always as the npu rep because that's where i learned a little bit more about how the city works and how zoning works and i think that we all know how much the city is going to grow over the next several years and while my background isn't technically in planning architecture design that is the stuff that i'm most interested in and passionate about and i have conversations with people in our communities frequently about these types of issues and i want to bring that perspective to the zoning review board so i don't know if there are questions i'm not sure how this part works miss wells you come highly recommend it uh so thank you very much for your willingness to serve i would entertain any um council members wanting to ask questions for rookie and i will move to approve miss walsh's constituent and a friend and she's um she's underselling her uh herself and her expertise should be a terrific addition to the zrb for her
