[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] w [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] good morning and welcome to the April 8th specially called meeting of the Orlando city council please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance Pledge of alance [Music] okay good morning Commissioners as you know we must hold a special election to temporarily fill the District 5 Orlando City commission seat as part of that process today I called a special election to be held on Tuesday May the 21st 2024 and a runoff election if necessary on June 18th 2024 city clerk has confirmed those dates with a supervisor of election and has obtained the required consent I would re like to recognize that supervisor Gil Zine is here with us today thank you for being here okay we have three items on our consent agenda today a resolution setting the qualifying period a contract with Orange County Supervisor election for the special election and appointments for the canvasing board and due to the nature of this meeting we don't have anything else on our agenda so Madam clerk do we have any requests for public com comment no speakers mayor no speakers then I will call for a motion to approve the consent agenda so move who was the maker Bard motion by commissioner Burns second by commissioner Stewart all in favor of the motion indicat so by saying I I I those opposed and so the motion carries there is no further business before the council today we will stand adjourned how about that one [Music] minute [Music] [Applause]
