good afternoon and welcome to the May 24 2023 Mesa Planning and Zoning Board public hearing we will begin with a roll call I am board member Crockett Vice chair Ayers here board member Allen here board member sarkissian here board member Peterson is absent today board member pitcher here and board member Montez is absent but we do have a quorum so we will push ahead as you heard in the opening we operate on a consent agenda we've got several items on the consent agenda today we have not had a request by any of the members of the board to remove anything from the consent agenda so let me find out if we have any members of the public or applicants that have requested to speak on an item chair we have not received any blue comment cards okay so no comments or requests to to speak so we have a consent agenda then that will be read by board member Allen and I will turn it over to hurricane thank you these are the items on today's consent agenda for the Wednesday May 24 2023 planning and selling public hearing uh the first item is 2A the minutes from May 10th 2023 study session and regular meeting second item is four a which is Don 22-01003 Western semi-solutions District One within the 2800 to 2900 blocks of North Greenfield Road within the 4300 block of East McDowell Road and within the 4300 block of East Oasis Street located west of Greenfield Road and North of McDowell Road rezone from light industrial to light industrial with a planned area development overlay and site plan review this request will allow for an industrial development the staff recommendation is approval with conditions item 4B 0n 22-01340 residents at Dobson and cubs way District 3 within the 900 block of North Dobson Road and within the 2000 block of West Riverview Auto Drive located north of Rio Salado Parkway in West Dobson Road rezone from General commercial with a planned area development overlay to multiple residents four with a bonus intensity Zone overlay and site plan review this request will allow for a multi excuse me multiple residence development and the staff recommendation is approval with conditions item 4C amending section 11-31-34a of the mesa's owning ordinance pertaining to medical marijuana dispensaries and dual licensee facilities the Amendments include that are not limited to modifying the space requirements between medical marijuana dispensaries and the Dual licensing facilities the staff recommendation is adoption those that can close the items on the consent agenda thank you board member Allen can I have a motion to approve our consent agenda on move to approve the consent agenda as read thank you board member sarkissian is there a second second thank you board member airs let's go ahead and vote board member Allen how do you vote I board member pitcher how do you vote all right thank you by your vote of five eyes No No's you have passed your consent agenda today so I will ask our director or assistant director if there's anything else on our agenda to cover this afternoon chair no there are no other items on the agenda thank you assistant director Nettles then uh I will ask for a motion to adjourn our public hearing I'll move to a journey here of a motion is there a second second all right would you please vote board member Allen aye board member pitcher hi thank you by your vote of five eyes No No's you have voted to adjourn our public hearing today thank you and we'll see you in a couple of weeks I don't know maybe around
