Welcome back to the Monday Morning Minute for  August 18. Let's get 60 seconds on the clock and get started. The last concert of our  summer series will be held at the Walton Park Bandshell this Wednesday, August 20 at 6 PM  with a kids music and bubble show by the Imagine Music Bubble Party. Join us for Oakdale's annual  Touch A Truck event this Thursday, August 21, from 5 to 7 PM in the City Hall parking lot. Kids  can climb and explore public safety vehicles, snow plows, garbage trucks, street cleaners,  semi-trucks, and more. This event is FREE and ice cream treats will be provided. A  sensory friendly hour will also be offered from 5 to 6 PM where no lights or sirens will  be used. Also on Thursday and right next door, stop by Walton Park for Washington County's  Back 2 School event from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Participants will be offered free haircuts,  school supplies, and resources, vaccinations, and more. Check it out. Finally, our 2025  Oakdale Acorn Award winners were recognized for excellence in landscaping at our recent  City Council meeting. Congratulations to Rick Rubbelke in the residential category and  the 4Front Technology & Office Campus in the business/commercial category. Thanks to  all of our talented and passionate gardeners from across the City for their time and effort  in keeping their properties and our community beautiful. We truly appreciate it.
