good afternoon and welcome to the February 22nd 2023 city of Mesa Planning and Zoning Board public hearing we will begin with a roll call I am board member Crockett Vice chair Ayers here board member Allen here board member sarkissian here board member Peterson here board member pitcher here and Boardman board member Montez here wonderful we have a we have a full complement of board members today um as you heard on the introduction we have a consent agenda today and the items that are on the consent agenda will be voted together if anyone is here today to speak to an item on the consent agenda uh you need to fill out a blue card and get it to us quickly and it will come off consent agenda to be discussed do we do we have anything no so it looks like everything will remain on our consent agenda board member sarkissian has volunteered to read that agenda so I will turn the time over to her and we will have on one of the items an amendment that will have staff help us out with a couple of amendments board member sarkissian yeah when you get to the items on the consent agenda for February 22nd 2023 minutes from the February 8th 2023 study session and regular meeting um item 3A zon 22-123-1263 home away from home District 2 within the 4600 block of East Banner Gateway Drive and with a 1700 block of South pierpoint Drive located east of Greenfield Road and south of the U.S 60 Superstition freeway free zone from light industrial and light industrial with a planetary rezone from light industrial and light industrial the planetary development overlay to lighten dust for the plenary development overlay and site plan review this request will allow for a temporary housing development associated with Banner Gateway Medical Center staff recommendation is approval with conditions with modification to condition one and additional condition number nine per study session in per Rin board members so condition number one is going to be modified to read compliance with the final site plan submitted and then we are adding a condition number nine which reads prior to the issuance of any building permit submit for review and approval a revised site plan grading and drainage plan and drainage report collectively revised plans to be to remove the retention Basin along Banner Gateway Drive if the revised plans are approved then the owner must comply with the revised plans if the revised plans are not approved or the Basin along the Eastern portion of the proper of the property cannot accommodate the required retention then the owner must go through the site plan review process in accordance with chapter 69 of the zoning ordinance all revised plans shall be designed for the late the latest city of Mesa engineering and design standards and item 3B 0 and 22-01270 Copa Health District 4 the 600 block of West Jerome Avenue located west of Country Club Drive and north of Baseline Road rezone from light industrial the bonus intensity Zone overlay to General commercial with the bonus intensity Zone overlay and Council use permit and site plan review this request will offer Social Service facility staff recommendation is approval conditions and item 4A zon 22-1266 Brown Road Pavilions District Five with a 6200 block of East Brown Road located east of Rucker Road on the south side of Brown Road from Ray Platte this request allowed for command condominium ownership of the buildings and common elements of Brown Road Pavilions staff recommendation is approval conditions and that is a consented agenda thank you board member sarkissian can I have a motion to approve the consent agenda so moved thank you Vice chair Ayers is there a second second all right are you ready to vote let's vote okay it looks like I don't have a screen up here that tells me oh it's up here chair Crockett can you can you call on board member Ayers and Alan thank you uh Vice chair Ayers how do you vote I and board member Allen aye thank you by your vote of seven eyes No No's you have passed the consent agenda Rachel is there anything else on our agenda this afternoon for the public hearing chair there is not right then I will ask for a motion to adjourn our public hearing motion to adjourn thank you secretary second by board member Peterson all in favor say aye aye those opposed you know do we need a roll call vote on this I mean a vote on the board I board member uh Ayers do you vote hi hi and board member Allen aye thank you so we voted to adjourn have a great week thank you
