There were no qualms and it should be good to go. [3:02] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Thank you. Do we have any questions or comments from council? Is there any public input on this resolution? Um, this project was given to our city engineer by MnDOT to remove two driveways and replace with one driveway along Highway 2, and there will be state aid funding involved which requires that they get our approval to do the work within our city. [4:39] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Thank you. Are there any questions or comments from council? Is there any public input on this resolution? Any public input on resolution 2025-83? Is there any public input on the resolution to provide municipal consent to the Minnesota Department of Transportation? Roll call, please. Next. Resolution 2025-84. Resolution recognizing National Public Works Week May 18th through 24th, 2025. Do we have a motion? [5:31] **Councilor John Geissler:** Motion to approve. [5:32] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Motion by Councilor Geissler to approve. Is there a second? [5:35] **Councilor Andy Hjelle:** Second. [5:36] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Second by Councilor Hjelle. Mr. Wicklund. [5:39] **Assistant City Administrator Joe Wicklund:** So, similar to last week, which was National Police Week and National Peace Officers Week, we also have an opportunity to celebrate our public works team. And we want to pay closer attention to these types of things, especially as we have kind of our 50th birthday as a city that, you know, when we think about everything that it takes to make us the successful hometown we are, oftentimes our public works team isn't the first group that comes to mind. But when we talk about safe roads and winter travel, we talk about pipes, we talk about the infrastructure that kind of really makes a city possible—these are really the heroes that get this done. So, it was a nice catch by the mayor to make this part of our agenda tonight and obviously a week worthy of celebration. [6:19] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Thank you. Any questions or comments from council? Uh, I believe it's important that we recognize specifically all the contributions of our team. Um, these are the people that we don't know. They're invisible until we miss them. If they don't plow the snow, we find out about it. If they aren't working on the water lines, sewer lines, or taking care of the roads, we feel it. But they're hidden and they do the silent work and they're out there at 3:00 in the morning with waterline breaks and the 30 below weather and we appreciate that. And I think we should take a concerted effort to try and remember to recognize every group. I believe we did miss firefighters the week before police week, and we should have those on our calendars to recognize those every year. Uh, these people are very important to what we do and we need to go out of our way to show them that we appreciate that. Anything else from council? Any public input on this resolution? Any public input on the resolution recognizing National Public Works Week? [7:41] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Is there any public input on resolution 2025-84? Roll call, please. [7:49] **City Clerk Alissa McClure:** Councilor Hjelle? **Councilor Andy Hjelle:** Aye. **City Clerk Alissa McClure:** Councilor Peterson? **Councilor Joe Peterson:** Aye. **City Clerk Alissa McClure:** Councilor Geissler? **Councilor John Geissler:** Aye. **City Clerk Alissa McClure:** Mayor Boucher? **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Aye. And we have no closed session this evening. I guess we can entertain a motion to recess. Do we have that motion? [8:05] **Councilor John Geissler:** Move to recess. [8:06] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Motion by Councilor Geissler to recess. Is there a second? [8:09] **Councilor Joe Peterson:** I'll second. [8:10] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Second by Councilor Peterson. All in favor say aye. **Councilors (Unison):** Aye. [8:14] **Mayor Wayne Boucher:** Opposed? (Silence).
