City Hall 101

No description available.

Welcome to Cottage Grove City Hall. If you've ever walked in the front doors and wondered where to go, you're not alone. Your first stop is right here in the vestibule. And where you go next depends on what you need. One quick note before we head inside. If you're looking for the Washington County Service Center, that is located right down the road from city hall. The service center can assist with passports, marriage and birth certificates, and park permits. From the vestibule, you'll want to head left into public safety to report a crime, request a police report, get fingerprinted, purchase a firearm permit, license an animal, or notary services. Our excellent public safety staff are ready to help you with all of those services. If you're not here visiting public safety, the front desk, straight down from that door, is the place to go. The front desk can assist you with utility bills and billing questions, solister license registration, building and permit questions and business licenses. Across from the front desk, you'll also find helpful resources like trail maps and the Discover Cottage Grove visitor guide, which highlights shopping, recreation, places to stay, and fun things to do around the city. There's also a public computer in the lobby, and staff are happy to help residents set up an online account, making it easier to pay bills and access city services from home. Speaking of online services, many of our services are available anytime, anywhere. Residents can pay utility bills, apply for permits, business licenses, and more, all online. Whether you're visiting City Hall in person or taking care of business online, Cottage Grove City Hall is here to help.
