Welcome back to the Monday morning minute for November 10th. Let's get 60 seconds on the clock and get started. Voting is now open for Oakdale's annual photo contest. Six finalists have been selected and you can vote for your favorite photo on Facebook by selecting like on that photo through November 30th. The top three photos with the most likes will be named the winners. Check out the link provided to review the finalist and to cast your vote. City offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, in observance of Veterans Day. To the men and women who have served in the armed forces, thank you so much for your dedication and service to our country. City offices will resume regular hours on Wednesday morning. Our first Oakdale indoor market of the season will be held this Saturday, November 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Discovery Center. Stop by to get a jump start on your holiday shopping. Finally, save the date. Thursday, December 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for the city's first ever tree lighting with Santa event. This free event will start with Santa arriving on a decorated firet truck and will feature a tree lighting ceremony, photos with Santa, a bonfire and s'mores, refreshments, and more.
