Uh I just want to welcome everybody today to the city of Cottage Grove and the ground uh the grand opening and ribbon cutting for circle circle deos which is circle of kids >> children circle of children and uh this is a Spanish immersion uh child care facility and you might be wondering where are we standing I'll just mention to you that we're actually in the St. Luke's Church building which is on the corner of 65th in Hinton. And I'm sure we'll get some more information uh from the owner here about this place. Uh this is a remarkable addition uh to Cottage Grove. Not not only does CI circlo de ninos uh bring uh the gift of b uh bilingual learning to our youngest residents but it also uh goes through a monastery inspired nature based approach that will help children grow and add with curiosity confidence and creativity. This facility represents more than just child care. It represents opportunity. opportunity for families to access highquality early education opportunities for children so that that can build strong foundations that will carry them into the future and an opportunity for our community to continue embracing diversity and innovation. I want to thank the founders, the educators and all those who made this vision a reality right here in Cottage Grove. Your dedication ensures ensures Cottage Grove remains a place where families thrive and children can reach their fullest potential and especially in a bilingual way. This is awesome. Congratulations on this exciting achievement. We are very proud and honored to welcome Circlo de Ninos to the city of Cottage Grove. And before I kick it over, I think I'm going to kick over to the owner first, right? Are we doing it? Okay. I also want to just briefly because I didn't do this at the very beginning. I want to introduce some of our guests here. Um, Monique Garza is one of our uh, city council members here in Cottage Grove and obviously a member of the chamber. Obviously, the chamber board members, I'll let you do the uh, uh, announcements here. And then our uh, representative Wayne Johnson uh, for our area here is also here uh, joining us at this great event today. So, on behalf of myself, like I said, the city of Cottage Grove and all of its residents, we welcome you to Cottage Grove. >> Thank you. >> So, would you like to say a few words? >> Yeah. Um well, thank you everyone for coming to Welcome everybody. Thank you so much. Um I'm really honored that you all are here today. Um this is um a space for language immersion, culture, um multicultural space and naturebased exploration. So this is a unique concept that we're combining all these three things together. Um it's a one-of-a-kind um immersion program. Um thank you. Um this also symbolized that the um the connection the opportunities and expanding this cultural aspect to everybody in college grow area and not and beyond. So I appreciate everybody coming in today. A special thank to my family and my husband who made it all work the builder of this place uh and my daughter who was an inspiration behind everything that I do. This is my third location expanding it to Cottage Grove from Minneapolis. Um just so excited to see what it brings to Cottage Grove. Thank you. >> Fantastic. And I will just mention, you know, for myself, I'm one of my wife and I are one of these November crafters, right, that come to different churches and such. And like I said, this is St. Luke's Church. So what they've done with this building from what I've seen in the past with regards to the craft fairs and that uh is absolutely amazing. So the play areas then uh the the learning areas that they've created here. So I encourage you to come check it out. Obviously uh you've got a phone number, you got a a website and a Facebook page. So if you need anything or you can I'm sure the city will have some stuff out on this too. you're more than welcome to reach out to myself and we'll uh we'll get you in contact if you have an interest in having your children become part of this great uh curriculum. >> All right. >> Thank you. >> There we go.
