hereby call to order this special meeting of the Roseville city council for the purpose of canvasing the primary election results in Roseville uh Mr C man call the RO please council member St here council member etton here council member schroer here council member grth here mayor R here and I should mention the date is August 16th 2024 uh at approximately 12:00 noon uh we only have one business item this evening or this afternoon which is to uh canvas the primary election I'll turn over to Mr Tran to uh introduce this item for our consideration today thank you Mr Mayor uh as mentioned in the staff report her statutes the city council within 3 days needs to certify the results of the primary election the primary election was held uh this past Tuesday on August 13th and the results were as follows Matt bow received 1,713 votes Marty Byers received 220 votes Joshua Kylie U received 1,73 votes Kevin Nicholson received 29 six votes Eric Richard norin received 125 votes and Julie St received 2,484 votes so the motion uh for you to consider is approval of these results and there is a document for us to sign for all of you to sign after appr have answer any questions questions for Mr Tran on this I believe uh we also want to as part of that motion declare that Bower Kylie Nicholson and straw are then ADV advancing to the general election certainly yep say that y right uh is there a motion from the council if no questions moved second right it's been moved by council member gra seconded by council member etton any discussion on the motion no all right hearing none once again we've got the motion to uh declare the results of the August 13th primary election uh noting that Bower Kylie Nicholson and STW advance to the general election all those in favor signify by saying I I I opposed that passes unanimously uh and that election result is approved there is no further business before the city council uh the special meeting is therefore adjourned [Music]
