[0:00] **Fredonia Free Press Reporter**: A new mural in downtown Marshall was dedicated. This mural is on the west wall of the building located at 122 West Michigan Ave. The mural is the second part of a multi-year beautification project called Project Bloom. The project is under the direction of local artist and business owner of High-Tide Tatoos and Body Piercing, Mike Gish. For the past year, Gish has devoted his free time and talent to painting the mural. He credits many sponsors for helping get supplies. In a news release, Gish stated "the building owner, Steve Silsbee, gave me the creative freedom to create this project with the request only that there be multiple yellow flowers and the American Sign Language 'I Love You' sign, which was in honor of his late son Logan". The mural which spans three story wall was meant to stand of contrast against the brick used in urban architecture while creating an overall aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Gish's goal is to turn Marshall into an outdoor art gallery through his work with Project Bloom. You can visit Marshall to view this mural at any time throughout downtown.
