WE HAVE THREE PUBLIC HEARINGS TONIGHT ITEM OR EXCUSE ME WE HAVE THREE ON THE CALENDAR AND WE'LL BE HAVING TWO ITEM 4.1 IS A PUBLIC HEARING THAT'S AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF THE CITY CODE AND THE FEE SCHEDULE APPENDIX A ITEM 4.2 WAS SCHEDULED AND IT MADE IT ONTO THE CALENDAR BUT IT WAS A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING OUR FRANCHISE FEES AND THAT HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR THIS EVENING COUNCIL SO WE'RE TAKING THAT OFF OF THE OFF OF THE AGENDA. WHEREAS, THE SUPPORTIVE AND UNDERSTANDING AND INFORMED CITIZENRY IS VITAL TO THE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF A PUBLIC WORKS SYSTEM AND PROGRAMS SUCH AS WATER, SEWERS ,STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, PARK MAINTENANCE, PUBLIC BUILDINGS, SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND SNOW REMOVAL. AND. WHEREAS THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND COMFORT OF THIS COMMUNITY GREATLY DEPENDS ON THESE FACILITIES AND SERVICES AND. WHEREAS, THE QUALITY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THESE FACILITIES AS WELL AS THEIR PLANNING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION IS VITALLY DEPENDENT UPON THE EFFORTS AND SKILL OF PUBLIC WORKS OFFICIALS. AND.
