Miss go am I clear thank you for coming you put that our next speaker is Mr Martinez how are you hello how y'all doing we're good okay uh councel uh today I'm going to talk about Economic Development and child development um right now A lot of people are talking about a lot of neighborhoods in Southside and North Side District 891 and two um are make a statement saying that there's um they're against economically they're against the hotel north side which we need those tourist dollars those Hotel taxes they don't even understand that the hotel taxes goes to pay for child development you got to have you can't have child health care and child um school without paying taxes where those Hotel taxes come and instead of going to their property taxes being raised it goes toward the the sales taxes and everything that brings into our community now one of the things I'm uh I'm pushing for is the um is doing bringing in program stem and steam programs uh sort of like a pyramid we see the consolidation with some of the schools JP Elder uh Kirk Patrick uh and uh was it mlan other schools in Southside uh so one of the things ideas I had for right now was that we bring in the stem and steam programs that are funded by uh Department of Defense contractors such as Bill helicopter and likey Martin and Ron and some others that are DOD uh defense contractors and they'll pay for it that way it doesn't have to come out of the the uh property taxes or having property taxes raised or anything but one of the things I was uh talking about is what the for DD was that we could we could have these programs be funded by federal federal funds and not really the federal government but like the uh partners and depart defense contractors and having the pyramids for the parents that are fighting against well forth ISD is in competition with the charge schools and the charge schools were helping and now it's going to be for the state I think is going to allow for funding for the uh private schools also so being fair to everybody I'm trying to make it competitive for for THD to be competitive and have fast tracking programs for the kids so they can go into college and then TCC would help out and it' be free getting their associates degree before they even graduate and then moving forward with having um having experiences and like that having the associates agree to move forward and they could also those credits would go over to their college program and then state funded or schools or whatever anyways the reason why I'm bringing this up now is because my mother's uh Health has changed and she's blind and I have to be there 24/7 so I'm not going to be able to do this so hopefully somebody could pick up where I start Ed um until I'm able to get my mother situated you can talk sir thank you yeah we can hear you good evening okay okay um um on the uh 25th of uh April I was uh it was a warrant put out for my arrest even though my lawyer sent uh a paperwork to the judge saying that he had a uh a murder trial in another County and it was still arrest put out for me and so even when I got in there uh my I got shot in my leg so I told the man that I couldn't well the uh bubble slippers cuz my feet kind of ball up in the uh ball anyway uh I asked them to write a report saying that I told them that I couldn't wear because the two pins at the bottom of my feet is broke so I can't just walk in them slippers anyway I was slammed to the ground they ripped out the uh the dreads out the middle of my head uh they kicked me in my face they kicked me in my body everything and I was just wondering what what can I do cuz I well I made a police Poli report um the amulance came I I have it all documented uh pictures everything but I'm kind of lost say what to do Mr Chapman just for clarification did this occur at Taran County jail yes ma'am so for the the Sheriff's Office correct yes ma'am okay at this point the best thing for us to do is pass these concerns go into our next election season as it relates to this city so as the young lady stated on the last uh public comments uh meeting don't forget remember we the people have the power to unseat anyone who sits before us also to all of the taxpayers people listening people present people watching wherever you find yourself uh as my voice goes forward vote no on proposition a May the 4th 2024 we do not need any more money going towards the Fort Worth Convention Center considering this city has already fumbled enough of the financial money that was marked for this city to bring about the necessary changes we need for all of Fort work so vote no on proposition a as relates to the renovations of the Ken County Fort Worth Convention Senate to Mr nles thank you sir for your vote on last week um I I truly think you get it you understand the uh the Dynamics of what what this city is doing with taxpayers money Chief uh Joe F he will win this case he will win this case so thank you for your vote uh Mr Block I just want to say thank you sir for listening to your constituents and standing with your constituents on as it relates to the environmental injustices that have come to try to prgrams in Russia that the city of Fort Worth spoke against today we are standing with the p perpetrators in our silence if you forgot what a pogram is it's the organized cruelty or Massac of a helpless People Under The Diplomatic and Military cover of the US P prgrams are occurring all over the West Bank according to the Israeli Human Rights group beam 17 Villages have been successfully cleansed cleansed by settler violence hundreds have been killed since October 7th and this is in the West Bank and not inza where Hamas does not exist ancient Christian communities are are fighting there for on their own battle for Survivor against settlers in Jerusalem we believe in life liberty and justice for all and your inaction here is changing that like the boiling frog it will be too late when you realize that its life in Liberty is just for some and not for all and it'll be way too late when you realize that you were no longer included in that sum I implore you all to please agree to meet with us at teachings or individually so we can discuss a resolution that works for the city that works for the betterment and Improvement of all of our citizens that fights not only anti-Semitism but islamophobia and will better and set a great precedence for the city of Fort Worth we should be the first to make this change all of the cities of Texas will Pro likely follow if one
