Thank you. >> Thank you, Mayor. This is uh an emergency council uh session that we've called together. Just for clarity, uh the city council may call an emergency meeting to address circumstances that in the judgment of the council uh require immediate consideration. This meeting was called in response to a potential ongoing cyber concern. A matter required immediate consideration to safeguard the public interest and prevent further damage. So we have two items um under the emergency items for council consideration. Uh the first up and this was this came through the League of Minnesota cities um through us discussing with them and who they use for these type of um IT attacks, cyber attacks. So the first one up is um through McDonald Hopkins um and this would be for selecting McDonald Hopkins um to assist in analyzing and responding to the business email compromise incident at the city of North St. Paul. um also explains evaluates the legal obligations to notify individuals or regulators regarding the incident that may have resulted in disclosure of personal information. Um we do have uh IT coverage or cyber um security coverage through the League of Minnesota Cities. So we are hoping besides our deductible that uh everything will be covered by that. Um so that is the emergency meeting. um the contract um but then the we also have that under the uh law firm of McDonald Hopkins they have their own um team that they use for the I believe it's called advisers which will perform the IT investigative services and report back to the city. It explains uh the expectations out of each party and uh lays out costs as well. So we are looking for approval of these two contracts to move forward and have that u IT forensic investigation into the breach. >> Thank you very much. Any questions from council members? >> No. >> If if not can uh can I get a motion on the first which is to adopt. Can we read that again please? >> You bet. The first one up is uh well that's the emergency meeting statement, but the first one is to vote to have McDonald Hopkins uh be under contract for us to start this investigation. >> Thank you. >> As the law firm, >> I get a motion, please. >> Okay. Council member Woods, second by Council Member McKenzie. I >> All those in favor say I. >> I. Thank you. And the second is um which is the contract with uh ERIT which will do the uh forensic IT investigation services under McDonald Hopkins. >> So moved. >> So move second. >> Second. >> Second. All those in favor say I. >> I. Thank you. >> Nothing further. Mayor, >> thank you very much for uh quick turnaround and be able to figure this out. So we appreciate uh you getting a hold of us and we'll go from there. If there's nothing else, I ask for adjournment please. >> So move. >> So move. Council member McKenzie. >> Second. Second, Council Member Woods. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Thank you. >> Thank you.
