Is that David? >> Jessica, how's it going? >> How are you? >> I'm good. How are you? >> It's been so long. >> I know. What are you doing? >> I'm out for a bike ride. It's May. Did you know May is National Bike Month? This is a great time to check out all of our parks in Roseville. >> I didn't know that. That's awesome. >> Yeah. Do you want to go for a ride? >> Yeah, let's do it. >> Let's go. >> Let's do it. I only go 100 miles an hour. >> You want to see some real speed? You want to see some real speed? Well, that's awesome that it's N National Bike Month. What uh what's your favorite park here in Roseville to bike around? >> I think right here, Central Park is beautiful. >> Yeah, it's awesome here. >> It's a great place to bike, great place to walk. There's two playgrounds here in Central Park. There's some softball fields and some sand volleyball courts. >> Yeah, my favorite places obviously are uh Central Park. You know, obviously it's uh one of the biggest parks here in Roseville. Um and then I think, you know, a close second would be like Langden Lake Park. Uh, Reservoir Woods is a good one as well. >> Autumn Grove is one of my favorite parks. I love seeing the youth programs out there in the summer. Kids run around and >> it's super busy out there. >> It's super busy, but it's such a great park. Um, >> we're also in the in the works of possibly getting a new playground there. So, >> that'll be even cooler to see. >> Very cool. >> Um, I mean, there's so many good options. We have 33 parks in Roseville and so picking one is really, really difficult, >> right? Everything has there's there's an option for everybody, I think. Right. >> Exactly. >> I don't know about you, but like when summer summer rolls around, I just get so excited for all the different events that are going on around Roseville. Um I love Rosefest. Like what are some of your favorite Rosefest events? >> I love the the Run for the Roses 5K event. So fun. It's another great way to get active and and train for something. Um I also really enjoy Discover Your Parks. The superhero carnival is an awesome way to get family out there. And >> sure, >> it's it's such a fun time to have so many fun things to do during the summer. >> Yeah, the Rose Parade is awesome, too. I love uh the medallion hunt. That's my personal favorite. So, >> yeah, the Rose Parade's amazing. All the bands that play in there with all the the groups that come in and or come out and I just really love it. It's a great community event. >> Yeah. Get the family out. Yeah, that's awesome. >> Put your lawn chair out there. Enjoy the enjoy the parade. >> Heck yeah. Enjoy some lemonade. Kick your feet up. Watch the parade. We'd be remiss if we didn't talk about party in the park. That's kind of like how uh Rosefest culminates to a to an epic conclusion. >> Those fireworks are extraordinary. >> I know. And the live music that they have, too. It's always such a good atmosphere. >> I always love watching the bands play and dancing and then just watching the fireworks right and it's a great way to celebrate. >> Oh yeah, absolutely. You can definitely find me in line at one of the food trucks loading up on some carbs. But, you know, it's a good thing that we're out here biking, you know. >> I love those cheese curds. >> David, I love your helmet. >> Oh, thanks. I don't ride without it. It's uh like I said, you know, biking is one of my favorite ways to get outside and enjoy nature and and stay active, but you know, I also want to make sure that I'm staying safe. So, got to protect the old noggin, you know. >> Yeah, that's essential. Yeah, >> is the most important part. So then you can have fun while you're biking. >> Absolutely. >> Man, that was a great ride. >> Oh, it was so great. I love May for bike month. >> I know. It's going to be so fun.
