Two open houses will be offered this week to learn more and ask questions of the project team. A virtual open house will be held tonight, Monday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and an in-person openhouse will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. here at City Hall. Check out the link provided for details on both options. We hope you can join us at Winter Wonderland this Saturday, December 20th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Discovery Center. Activities include horserawn hay rides, a petting zoo, bonfire with s'mores, face painting, you can visit with Santa, and so much more. This event is free to attend thanks to our valued partnership with the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce, sponsoring organizations, and Oakdale Recreation. Parking at the Discovery Center is limited, so please plan on parking on neighboring streets. Finally, a big congratulations to Oakdale Santa, who was named Oakdale's 2025 volunteer of the year. For more than 35 years, Oakdale Santa has stood at the corner near Hadley Avenue and Stillwater Boulevard, spreading holiday cheer to the hundreds of kids and adults that stop by each season.
