okay good morning everyone it is now 11 A.M and I am councilmember Marcy Collier Overstreet the chair of the zoning committee calling the meter to order oops that means it's official this is the kickoff of our committee week um and with that I'd like to introduce the members of the zoning committee and we'll start with my right that's a council member Amir faroki and to my far left we have Matt Westmoreland and to his right is council member Jason Dozier and right here to my immediate left is council member Mary Norwood with that we do constitute a quorum so we can conduct conduct our City's business and so we shall um let's move on down to the adoption of the agenda I moved that we adopt the agenda second by Westmoreland please prepare the vote is open five years and zero Nays thank you and with that uh we will move on to the approval of the minutes and I move a motion to approve the minutes second by Mary Norwood please prepare the vote boat is open and the vote is closed it's five days zero news thank you our next item is uh zoning committee goals and objectives we had two weeks to submit goals and objectives and I'm not sure we all did but we're going to give you two more weeks and Mr Griffin and Mr Evans are both waiting for your Zone your goals and objectives for zoning committee um two more weeks sounds like something that you can do yes yes we all have goals so we will submit those and we'll uh actually speak about them in our next zoning committee and with that we're we're on public comment and do we have any public comment no one is signed up for public comment okay normally we would allow three minutes for public comment per speaker but we don't have any so we will move on down and this takes us to ordinances for second read I'd like to introduce director of zoning and development key at our homes who were reading the caption for our second read good morning Madam chair may I take items one and two together yes please item number one 220-1759 z2277 an ordinance by council member Byron The Amos to amend part 16 chapter 18 h of the 1982 zoning ordinance of the city of Atlanta as amended so as to create a new section 1618h004 to create regulations for short-term rentals in the Home Park neighborhood and for other purposes mpue Council District 5. item number 2 220-1898 u229 an ordinance by zoning committee granting a special use permit to sever excess development density not less than 45 000 square feet and up to fifteen thousand square feet of residential floor area percent pursuant to 1618 p0052b for property located at 250 14th Street Northeast the recommendation is to hold okay um and I've spoken with both council members uh council member Amos and Juan about these uh pieces of legislation we are going to hold them because they're still doing work in the community with these pieces of legislation so motion to hold second by Amir farooki please prepare the vote the vote is open and the vote is closed it's five years and zero Nays thank you um and with that we're we're down to papers held in committee which we will not be bringing any of those forward councilmember 14 why are you Gathering everything so quickly you ready to go it wasn't even five minutes okay in that case um no one has any general remarks in that case we're adjourned thank you
