Welcome back to the Monday Morning Minute for May  4th. Let's get 60 seconds on the clock and get started. A big thank you to everyone who attended  the grand opening of our brand new Public Works facility last Saturday. Now it means it's time  for Public Works to move to their new location. Services at the current campus, 1900 Hadley Avenue  North, will close today on Monday and reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, at the new location, 3200  Granada Avenue North. As one project is completed, another project begins. Construction for the  Police Expansion and City Hall Remodel Project is expected to begin in June. Services currently  housed at City Hall will be relocated to other City facilities this month. Police will be  the first to move. Police lobby services here at city hall will close today, Monday, and  reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, at their new location, Fire Station 2, located at 6633 15th Street  North. Check out the link provided for more info. Finally, the annual community shred event is set  for this Saturday, May 9th, from 9 to 11 AM in the northeast parking lot at City Hall. This is a  great way to dispose of confidential documents for free. The limit is 10 bags or 2 boxes. A big thank  you to Eberhard Group Real Estate for providing this opportunity for our community.
