Welcome to the April 23, 2025 Mesa Planning and Zoning U public hearing. Uh we will start by taking a roll call. Uh I am Vice Chair Pitcher. Uh board member Peterson here. Board member Montes here. Board member Blakeman here. Uh Chair Ays, board member Carpenter and board member Farnsworth are excused. As uh part of today's agenda, we'll have a consent agenda and it will be read into the record on enacted in one motion. Um they will not be discussed individually. Have have we received any blue cards to take anything off? Thank you. Uh today, uh board member Montes has agreed to read the consent agenda. Mhm. Items on the consent agenda. Minutes from the April 9th, 2025 planning and zoning board meeting. Item 3A Z24-0000568 Longbow Lot 2 replat 10 plus minus acres located approximately 1,180 ft west of the southwest corner of North Recorder Road and East Longbo Parkway. Preliminary plat approval for a four lot subdivision in district 5. Staff recommendation approval with conditions. Item 3B, zone 25-000054, Edgecore Condo Plat, 40 plus minus acres, located approximately 1,600 ft south of the southwest corner of Elliot Road and South Everton Terrace. Preliminary plat review for a 4unit condominium subdivision, District 6. Staff approval approval with conditions. review, discuss, and make a recommendation of the city council regarding the following proposal amendment to the Mesa zoning ordinance. Item 4A, propose proposed amendment to chapters 34 and 87 of title 11 of the Mesa City Code pertaining to manufactured home parks and subdivisions and recreational vehicle parks and subdivisions. The text amendments include, but are not limited to modifying the permitted uses and recreational vehicle subdivisions and manufactured home subdivisions to allow for dwelling units of conventional construction. Modifying language to clarify the per permitted uses in recreational vehicle parks and manufactured home parks. Adding a maximum height requirement for dwelling units of conventional construction. Modifying how required yard setbacks and recreational vehicle and manufactured home parks and subdivisions are measured. Modifying the definitions of manufactured home, manufactured home lot, manufactured home park, manufactured home subdivision, recreational vehicle accessory structure, recreational vehicle, recreational vehicle lot, recreational vehicle park, recreational vehicle subdivision, adding a definition of recreational vehicle park, and minor revisions to the emergency parking wording.
